I’ve been thinking for a while now how should I develop this blog further, and have asked some feedback and opinions from my readers, too. And after all this thinking and “researching” I’ve decided to make an experiment which I hope won’t scare you off ;)
As you know I’m currently based in Helsinki and my mother tongue is Finnish, yet I decided to build this blog in English to give also my international friends and other people interested an opportunity to read about my journeys. To write in English requires always a bit more work, though, and you usually loose something from your personality at the same time. So I’ve decided to make a small language change here, and from now on (or at least few posts to check what’d be the feedback…) I’ll write the main text in Finnish and add an English summary below it.
I’ll also concentrate mostly on Italy as a country and destination, and things related to it. It’s become quite clear that that’s where my passion is so why not take that as the main subject. Hopefully this would mean that one day I could write a small summary in Italian, too… someday, in the future… So the concentration on Italy might bring some other changes along the way, too, but let’s start with this English-Finnish language change first and see how that goes.
If you don’t agree with this please leave a comment below and I promise I’ll take it into consideration the best way possible :)
